Understanding Trade-up Contracts

In CS2, a trade-up contract lets you exchange 10 skins of the same rarity for one skin of the next higher rarity tier. The output skin is randomly selected based on the collections the input skins belong to.

Avg. Profit: The average profit you can expect from this contract, calculated across all possible outcomes weighted by their probability. A positive value means the contract is profitable on average, though individual results vary.
Profit Chance: The probability that the outcome skin is worth more than the total cost of all input skins. A 75% profit chance means 3 out of 4 attempts are expected to be profitable.
Profitability: The expected return on investment as a percentage. A profitability of +25% means you can expect to earn 25% more than you spend, on average.
Expected Return: The average value of the output skin you receive, calculated across all outcomes weighted by probability. Compare this to the total cost to assess the contract.
Float Requirement: The maximum float value an input skin must have for this contract to work as calculated. Buying skins with a higher float than required will change the outcome probabilities and may reduce profitability.
